Cathy Rogers, ND graduated from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Seattle in 1976. She joined Bastyr University in 1981 as Dean of Admissions, three years after it was founded, and two years later became its Academic Dean through achieving accreditation until 1991.
She was a founding director and second president of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
In 1999 she created a day retreat on Puget Sound near Seattle, offering contrast hydrotherapy treatments in Nature for 14 years. Her naturopathic practice and teaching over 49 years has been focused on using the therapeutic relationship in a body-based psychotherapeutic approach, to engage her clients’ self-healing resources.
